Heppner, creator of transport and logistics solutions, is the specialist and independent leader in international trade, to and from France and Germany: its land transport networks now link more than 40 European countries, with deliveries in 24/72 hours to the main European cities.
Strongly connected to the international market, Heppner's exclusive partnership agreements also allow it to offer sea and air transport to and from 157 countries around the world.
With a revenue of 938 million EUR in 2023 and a century of accumulated business experience (creation date 1925), Heppner currently employs more than 3.750 people, with a direct presence in the Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Hungary, United Kingdom and Senegal, and more than 10.000 customers.
Since its inception, the group has cultivated its Franco-German heritage, initially establishing itself on the German border and maintaining a robust presence in Alsace and neighbouring German regions. Furthermore, the group's strategic focus lies predominantly on accelerating international expansion, with Germany as its primary priority. A substantial portion of future growth is anticipated to result from external expansion initiatives. As a family-owned business, Heppner has nurtured its independence since its creation in 1925 and is now led by the CEO Jean-Thomas Schmitt, representing the 4th family generation.
Following the acquisitions of HaCas (Gilze) in 2017, and Segers Internationaal Transport (Oosterhout) in September 2024, Heppner currently employs more than 60 people in The Netherlands who are realizing a consolidated turnover of over 50 million EUR.
