For an international services company, we are looking for a Chief Procurement Officer.

Location: Brussels.
Start assignment: September.
Duration assignment: 6 months (could be extended).

Profile

  • Master Degree.
  • Familiar with the role of Chief Procurement Officer in the services industry.
  • Ideally 10+ years' procurement experience in a similar role, with international exposure and a drive to deliver best in class procurement practices.
  • As a senior leader, you will operate in a strategic leadership capacity, delivering cost reduction and value chain improvement programs internationally, through the implementation of best practices and management of procurement activities for all indirect services categories.
  • In this strategic role, you will adopt and drive a continuous improvement mindset in line with business targets and wider company goals.
  • You will be proficient in stakeholder management, with the ability to understand wider business needs and communicate with senior and C-suite business leaders.
  • Deep understanding of business practices, market dynamics and trends.
  • Personal motivation and charisma to challenge and carry out transformational purchasing projects in a constructive way.
  • Ability to grow, coach and develop purchasing teams.
  • Strong inter-personal & influencing skills towards all stakeholders.
  • Effective change manager with a results-oriented track record.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and French.
